A MUST WATCH VIDEO Of Dead Nigerians Trying To Travel Abroad Via Desert [Watch + Download Link Available]

This is the shameful tragic end of many Nigerians seeking green pastures in other countries by all means and for this ones when they couldn’t go through the right way they choose a way for themselves but it only ended in Tragedy.

There is a Way that seemeth right to a Man but some of these ways leads to destruction and this Video is just a prove of this.
There are no Green Pastures anywhere, If You Need One then you Take your Time and Grow Yours and you can get it done anywhere.

A Word and a Lesson For The Desperate.
And To The Government and Unfaithful Leaders, One Day You will all give account of your stewardship to the nation and for all those whose Life and Destinies were wrongly affected because you failed in Your Duties to the Nation.

Nokia 'Sirius' Windows 8.1 tablet leaks with 10.1in HD 1080p display

Arguably the most interesting of these is the Nokia 'Sirius', the Finnish phone maker's first tablet. This device has been rumoured for a while, and is expected to launch alongside the Nokia Lumia 1520 tablet on 26 September.

Assuming this leak is accurate, and we have no reason to believe it is not, you won't have to wait until the end of the month to find out what the tablet will offer. It reportedly will run Microsoft's Windows 8.1 RT operating system and will have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 10.1in 1920x1080 full HD display.

Taking tips from Nokia's Lumia phone lineup, the tablet reportedly will also feature a 6.7MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in LTE support and will be available in red, complete with a "multi-function cover with keyboard".

That's all we know right now, but the Nokia Sirius is likely to make its debut within the next few weeks, priced at around $499.

Winsupersite has details about other Windows 8.1 incoming tablets, too.

These include: the 8in Dell Venue tablet which will likely feature an Intel Atom Bay Trail chip and a $299 price tag; the Lenovo 7in and 10.1in Intel Atom Bay Trail tablets, the Miix 8 and Miix 2; and the Microsoft Surface Mini, which will reportedly feature an 8in screen and a Qualcomm processor.

The 15 Most Mind-Blowing Sex Facts EVER Published

1.Fat baby boys are more likely to have sex earlier in their lives.

Boys who gain the most weight in their first six months of development go on to be taller and stronger as adults, which increases the likelihood that they will lose their virginity sooner!

The reason those first six months are important is because the babies are making the best use of the testosterone that is coursing through their tiny bodies. Testosterone is a male sex hormone that affects muscle and bone growth in babies, and sexual development in young adults.

2.A third of all divorce filings in 2011 contained the word "Facebook”

Information on Facebook is becoming a major factor in marriage conflicts and is increasingly being used as a source of evidence in divorce cases. In 2011, Facebook was cited as a reason for a third of divorces (Divorce-Online).

The most common reasons Divorce-Online found cited as evidence were; inappropriate messages to members of the opposite sex, separated spouses posting nasty comments about each other, and facebook friends reporting spouse’s behavior.

The greater availability of information online through social media has created a variety of problems for relationships at every level. Conflict caused by embarrassment, jealousy, false assumptions, and stalker-like behavior, are some of the social disasters that can result from the misuse of social media.

3.Ever wondered why ♂ and ♀ represent the male and female gender?

The symbols are actually astrological in nature. The male is the celestial symbol for Mars. It is supposed to resemble a shield and a spear, because they're closely associated with Mars, the god of war.

The female is the celestial symbol of Venus, who is the Roman godess of love, beauty and sex. There is less consensus over what this symbol represents, but one of the most popular explanations is that it represents Venus' hand mirror. Curiously, though, the symbol for Mercury, the winged messenger, is used to represent a virgin female. It basically looks like the venus symbol, with horns.

If you're old enough to remember, there was a series of books called "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." Now you know the reason why the book was called that.

4.Vitamin D Increases Speed of Sperm Cells.

A study from researchers in Copenhagen that was published in the scientific journal Human Reproduction tested the effects the relationship between Vitamin D and the sperm cells produced by 300 men. The study reinforces past studies that suggest a link between Vitamin D and sperm quality and in particular it identifies a correlation between Vitamin D levels and sperm mobility.

While lower semen quality can be the result of a large number of causes, Vitamin D deficiency has been identified as one of them. This doesn’t necessarily mean that taking a bunch of Flintstones Vitamins will make your sperm swim faster. The researchers have concluded that they need to test this more before they make any recommendations for altering fertility treatment.

5.The average American adult has sex 118 times year, just under the worldwide average of 127.

Americans have sex 118 times a year, below the average of 127.

Eastern Europeans have sex an average 150 times a year. The countries with the lowest sex frequencies are Sweden (102), Malaysia (100), and Singapore (96).

6.Humans have pubic hair to trap sexual scents!

Humans actually have the same density of hair follicles for an animal of our size. The difference is that, for the most part, our hair is very fine and barely visible...except down there.

Although some people believe that pubic hair is just a remnant of a hairier period of our evolutionary history, the question remains, why did some hair become finer with time, while pubic hair remained thicker? Scientists believe that this is because pubic hair is used to trap scents called "pheromones."

Pheromones are sexual odors that generate sexual arousal in other people. Scientists believe that pubic hair traps these odors so that potential mates can detect them.

7.Sexual infidelity is often the result of performance anxiety.

A recently published study found several factors that can predict the likelihood of a cheating partner. 23% of men and 19% of women cheat, and while religion, education, and marital status can’t be used to effectively predict whether a man or a woman cheats personality issues can.

Men who are risk takers, who are easily excited, or have concerns about the sexual performance are more likely to cheat. Women are more likely to cheat when they are dissatisfied with their relationships or if they feel that they are sexually incompatible with their current partners.

Google launches new Chrome 29 browser for iOS

Google launches new Chrome 29 browser for iOS

Google has announced the launch of an updated Chrome web browser for iPhone and iPad, Chrome 29, which offers a number of new features and upgrades.

The iOS browser has new data cost savings enhancements in the form of enabling users to manage their data consumption in 'Bandwidth Management Settings'. The feature is presently being rolled out incrementally and will be available to every user soon.

The Chrome voice search function now has pronoun support, so a user can ask things such as "Who is the president of the United States?" followed by "Who is his wife?" and search results for Michelle Obama will appear, without having to mention the president for a second time.

The new browser enables users to navigate back to search results more easily after one link has been clicked by going instantly back to the original search listings when the back button is hit, without the page needing to reload.

The app also has improvements to the Single Sign On service across Chrome and other Google Apps, as well as general bug fixes and stability and security improvements.

The update will be available from the Apple App Store today. A run down of known issues is available on the Chrome support site, but if you experience a new issue, you can file a bug report to Google.

Insulin plays a role in mediating worms' perceptions and behaviors

The roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans has exactly 302 neurons----far less than the estimated 100 billion neurons a person has----and we already know how each of them is connected. That, in addition to how easily the tiny creature's cells can be manipulated, allows researchers to ask what sort of information passes through the circuits----in molecular-and circuit-level detail----and what are the behavioral consequences of this information flow.

Even with a comprehensive map of the worm's neuronal connections in hand, however, scientists still don't know how the animal can interact with its environment in thousands of different ways. That's one big question that Sreekanth Chalasani, an assistant professor in Salk's Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory and Sarah Leinwand, a doctoral student at the University of California, San Diego, sought to answer.

In C. elegans, thanks to studies performed more than 20 years ago, many sensory neurons were identified to have distinct roles such as sensing temperature, pheromones, salt and odors. To know what these cells did, scientists had zapped them one-by-one with a laser and measured the worms' behaviors. These studies implicated one neuron in the detection of increased salt in the worm's surroundings.

Superstitious Numbers Around the World (its not just 666 but others inclusive)

Numbers carry different meanings depending on what country you are in

Various cultures consider certain numbers superstitious.

Today is Friday the 13th—a day thought to be unlucky because of the idea that number 12 is "complete" (think apostles, months of the year, zodiac signs) and 13 is just ... odd. That's the explanation given by Joe Nickell, a senior research fellow and paranormal investigator for Skeptical Inquirer magazine.

But in other countries, different numbers are thought to be just as unlucky. In case 13 makes you nervous, here are five other numbers to avoid.

4: In China, the pronunciation of the word for the number four is similar to that of the Chinese word for death. Many buildings in China skip a fourth floor, just as U.S. builders sometimes omit floor 13.

9: Just as the number four has a bad-luck soundalike in Chinese, 9 is feared in Japan because it sounds similar to the Japanese word for torture or suffering.

17: Some Italians are superstitious about Friday the 17th because rearranging the Roman numeral XVII can create the word "VIXI"—translated from Latin to mean "my life is over."

39: The number 39 gets a bad rap in Afghanistan. An NPR report explains: "Many Afghans say that the number 39 translates into morda-gow, which literally means 'dead cow' but is also a well-known slang term for a procurer of prostitutes—a pimp." So when Afghans see a car with number 39 on the license plate, they head the other way.

666: Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia means fear of the number 666. In the Bible's apocalyptic Book of Revelation, John the Apostle refers to 666 as "the number of the beast." This "beast" is often interpreted as being the Antichrist—and thus the number is a sign of the devil.

DRAMA AS POLICE SEALS OFF NEW PDP SECRETARIAT IN RIVERS (photos)

The crisis rocking the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) took a dramatic twist yesterday when police sealed off the secretariat of the new PDP.

Trouble started shortly after the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Tony Okocha, informed journalists that the new party secretariat was opened in line with the directives of the new party chairman that the states chapter of the party should open their respective states secretariats.
Less than ten minutes after the new party flag was hoisted, a contingent of the policemen led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations Sam Ogoala stormed the new secretariat located at Forces avenue G.R.A Port Harcourt and directed that the flags should be dismantled.
There was verbal exchange between the Chief of Staff to the Governor and the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor had questioned the authority of the police to dismantle the party flags. The Deputy Commissioner of Police ignored the pleas by the Chief of Staff not to dismantle the flag. The police boss personally pulled down the four poles hoisting both the Nigeria flag and that of the party.
Journalists who were invited to witness the inauguration of the new party secretariat were harassed and hounded by fierce looking police men. A photographer with Sun newspaper was manhandled while his camera was destroyed by the police.
DCP Sam Ogoala told journalists that the opening of the new secretariat was illegal.

WOW!! Pair of jeans made from recycled water bottles

A good pair of jeans should be treasured. You know, that pair that fits perfectly, time-worn to fit comfortably while still looking good. The pair you’ll wear long after they develop holes in both knees, just because you love them so much. Unfortunately, most denim brands use resource-intensive processes that utilize a lot of nasty chemicals, putting workers and the planet at risk.

The Green Jean from Dirtball Fashion isn’t one of those brands. The focus of a newly-launched Kickstarter campaign, these eco-friendly pants are made from recycled water bottles and cotton grown right here in the US of A. In fact, there’s not a single element of these jeans that is made on foreign soil–a big victory considering how unfair the fashion industry can be to workers from other countries.

Dirtball specializes in American-Made Recycled Apparel for men and boys, but up until now, they’ve mainly focused on easy stuff like t-shirts and socks. The Green Jean will be their first foray into the crowded denim industry, but if anyone can take the eco-guilt out of blue jeans, it’s them.

Billed as both “comfortable” and “creative”, Green Jeans are made from cotton and anywhere from 8-10 recycled water bottles which have been repurposed to create a high-quality cotton and polyester denim. According to the company, they are the only jeans on the market that are both sustainably produced and completely made-in-the-USA.

The jeans are available in four styles, Regular, Rigid, Khaki, and Enzymed. Unfortunately, they’re available in men’s classic comfort fit cut only. Sorry ladies (unless you prefer a boy cut). Get one of the first pairs to roll off the line by pledging at least $85 to the Kickstarter campaign.

NASA spacecraft embarks on historic journey into interstellar space

NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft officially is the first human-made object to venture into interstellar space. The 36-year-old probe is about 12 billion miles (19 billion kilometers) from our sun. New and unexpected data indicate Voyager 1 has been traveling for about one year through plasma, or ionized gas, present in the space between stars.

Voyager is in a transitional region immediately outside the solar bubble, where some effects from our sun are still evident. A report on the analysis of this new data, an effort led by Don Gurnett and the plasma wave science team at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, is published in Thursday's edition of the journal Science.

"Now that we have new, key data, we believe this is mankind's historic leap into interstellar space," said Ed Stone, Voyager project scientist based at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. "The Voyager team needed time to analyze those observations and make sense of them. But we can now answer the question we've all been asking -- 'Are we there yet?' Yes, we are."

Voyager 1 first detected the increased pressure of interstellar space on the heliosphere, the bubble of charged particles surrounding the sun that reaches far beyond the outer planets, in 2004. Scientists then ramped up their search for evidence of the spacecraft's interstellar arrival, knowing the data analysis and interpretation could take months or years.

FG-ASUU Impasse - VC Pleads With Sultan to Intervene

(photo) Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha

The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, Thursday pleaded with the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III and other well meaning Nigerians to wade into the current impasse between the federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Mustapha made the plea yesterday, during a chat with journalists shortly after paying homage to the Sultan in Sokoto.

He noted with dismay that the prolonged strike and its recurrence in the nation's universities had been negatively impacting on the education sector.

According to him, with this ugly development, the quality of education would continue to go down as a result of the disruption of the academic activities.

"We are pleading with the Sultan to use his position and speak to the two parties to broker a lasting solution to the recurring ASUU strikes in Nigeria,"he said. He lamented the impact of brain-drain on the nation's education sector but acknowledged that it was a universal phenomenon.

Mustapha noted that the problem was also affecting all the countries of the world, including the United States of America, United Kingdom and other European nations.

The vice-chancellor canvassed for more investments in the nation's education sector, adding, "education demands a lot investments and for us to get the best, we need to invest more in education."

He stressed that the nation's universities required improved funding, better structures and facilities for teaching and learning.

Mustapha pointed out that the universities were in dire need of better laboratories, libraries, hostels, welfare for students and members of staff, as well as funds for sustained researches.

"I believe that there should be more funding not only from the government but the corporate organisations and philanthropists should complement their efforts in improving education in the country," Mustapha stated.
