Former Nigeria captain releases book
Former Nigeria captain Segun Odegbami will mark the release of his new book Me, Football and More with an event at the Nigerian Embassy, London, this Friday (6 September).
The event, which is supported by the Sodje Sports foundation, will run from 5-7pm.
A host of celebrities, press and government officials will be in attendance including Ian Wright and Dr. Dalhatu Sarki Tarfida.
The book, which Segun considers his finest achievement, details his peregrination through sports and the arts for the past 33 years.
Segun has had an extensive career in many different fields, with roles as a football manager, television host and a historian, to name a few.
“About a year ago, the idea to put together a compendium of some of these stories was mooted by a few people that have been following my career,” said Segun.
The event will include a Q&A session and also the opportunity to meet Segun.
