Nigerians in U.S. to Build U.S.$10 Million Trauma Hospital in Abuja
As part of its efforts to compliment the health care programme of the federal government of Nigeria, the Nigerians in the Diaspora Organization in the Americas (NIDOA) has begun plans to build a $10 million worth Trauma Hospital in Abuja, the capital city of the country.
Making this known on Sunday during an interview with our correspondent in Atlanta, Georgia shortly after the just-concluded Nigerian Conference on Investment and Health at the Atlanta World Trade center, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization, Chief Victor N. Ugoh, said that it had become a necessity for Nigeria to have such hospital in order to assist the federal government in the area of emergency.
