OKOROCHA ANNOUNCES END TO APGA IN IMO

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has declared that with existing merger of his former political party the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) into All Progressive Change (APC), APGA has seized to exist in the state.

Okorocha said that all the local government and ward structures of APGA have henceforth been converted into APC.
He made the declaration while presenting former APGA officials in the local government areas and wards of the state as well as other party members to the National Zonal Vice Chairman of APC at a forum held in Owerri.
He maintained that APGA did not have a national outlook, advising Igbos to join the new merger party which presents a way forward for Ndigbo and the nation at large.
He announced that a 21-man harmonization committee has been set up to ensure even representation of the interest of all the merger parties in the State and advised the APC members to work as a team.
National Zonal Chairman of APC, Dr. Nyerere Anyim, called on all Igbos to join the party to form a formidable team in order to guarantee a radical change in governance.
