THE COOLNESS OF SAMSUNG S5

Through its relentless innovation and discovery, Samsung Electronics West Africa has introduced into the smart phone econ-system Samsung Galaxy  S5  with a  built-in heart rate sensor that enables new features in the S Health 3.0 app, as well as a finger print scanner that puts it on par with Apple’s TouchID feature on the iPhone 5S.
The new product which  is compliant with  IP67  dust and water resistant will be available in the global markets next month.

With the enhanced S Health 3.0, the new Galaxy S5 offers more tools to help people stay fit and well. It provides a comprehensive personal fitness tracker to help users monitor and manage their behavior, along with additional tools including a pedometer, diet and exercise records, and a new, built-in heart rate monitor.
Galaxy S5 users can further customize their experience with an enriched third party app ecosystem and the ability to pair with next generation Gear products for real-time fitness coaching.
At the   flagging  off pre-order for Galaxy S5 alongside the latest in its industry-leading wearable device line, the Gear Fit and Gear 2,  yesterday in Lagos, the  Managing Director of Samsung West Africa told IT journalists that the company will continue to improve the lives of its consumers with innovative solutions.
Kim who confirmed hat the  devices will be introduced to the West African market at a Galaxy S5 Premier event scheduled to hold next Month in Lagos said that the technology company was committed to introducing that concerns the consumers.
According to him,  Samsung  was  already accepting orders for the 5.1 inch, full HD display flagship Galaxy S5 and the Gear Fit on its pre order and partner sites, ahead of the April release date. “Customers who take advantage of the pre-order campaign for the smartphone are entitled to a free Galaxy S5 S-View cover.
We will also be having a promotion on the first day of sale of the device for our consumers, where individuals who buy the Galaxy S5 stand a chance of winning a free Galaxy Gear Fit,” he said.
“This new line offers the best in media consumption and productivity, combining the industry’s best viewing experience in a tablet with Samsung’s award-winning design legacy.
The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with an extraordinarily versatile product, further extending their digital experience into everyday life than ever before,”  Mr. Emmanouil Revmatas, Director of Samsung Electronics West Africa’s Information Technology and Mobile unit, said.
According to Revmatas, the newly unveiled products were  already available at all Samsung Experience Stores and at accredited dealers nationwide.
He  disclosed that the philosophy  behind S5  is meeting the needs of customers in different countries, adding that the product reflected Samsung ongoing innovation.
Powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor and boasting a 5.1-inch super AMOLED display, the new Samsung Galaxy S5 features an upgraded 16-megapixel camera, new fitness tracking features, a heart rate scanner and is dust and water (IP67) resistant.
The highlight of the smartphone is a new fingerprint scanner, which is integrated with the device’s home button and provides consumers with a safe, biometric screen-locking feature.
Samsung also launched a series of products from its successful Galaxy range at the event including
Key among these was the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, a more affordable yet premium, dual-SIM variant of the wave-making Galaxy Note 3 device.
Like other devices in the Galaxy Note series, this latest offering comes with an S Pen and offers features like Air Command, Easy Clip, Multi Window and S Note.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo also features preloaded apps including Samsung Apps, Samsung ChatON, Samsung WatchON, Screen Mirroring, S Voice, S Health, Group Play, Air View, and S Translator, among others.
Also unveiled at the event and extending Samsung’s tablet range and its innovation legacy were the Galaxy Note PRO.
Other devices that were unveiled at the event include Samsung’s Galaxy Grand 2 dual-SIM smartphone, which offers an optimal large-screen experience on a portable, compact smartphone and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, a tablet built specifically for children with functions that make it also ideal for parents.
