TECH: ACER monitor goes from HD to XD(xtreme definition)

The Acer K272HUL, Starting at $449, the Acer display boasts ab2,560x1,440-pixel-resolution WQHD display, also known as extreme definition.
It has purported 178-degree viewing angles and 16.7 million colors, with a 6ms
response time. The Acer monitor houses
dual built-in speakers and connectivity options are limited to DVI and DisplayPort, as well as two HDMI ports. The VESA wall-mountable K272HUL also comes with Acer ComfyView, which
lowers reflection and glare.
When it comes to extreme-definition 27-
inch monitors, the Acer K272HUL is
relatively a bargain buy. Acer's 27-inch
B276HUL monitor has a MSRP of $599, but offers a more ergonomic design for
adjusting the display to your maximum
comfort, and Asus offers a comparable
model, the 27-inch PB278Q display ;
however, the Acer K272HUL -- in stores
now -- is one of the most affordable extreme-definition monitors available.
