UNILORIN POST GRADUATE STUDIES ADMISSION

UNILORIN has begun receiving applications for the 2014
Post-Graduate programme from qualified candidates to fill
up the Institute of Education in the Institution. The
programmes available are listed as follows;
A. M.Ed. DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Measurement and Evaluation
(iii) M.Ed. Counsellor Education
(iv) M.Ed. Arabic Education; Religious Studies Education;
English Language Education; Mother-Tongue Education;
and Curriculum Studies
(v) M.Ed. Science Education (Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology.)
(vi) M.Ed. Educational Technology

(viii) M.Ed. Health Education
B. B.A. (Ed.), B.Sc.(Ed.), B.Ed. Programmes
A combination of Education with any of the following
subjects:

(v) Health Promotion and Environmental Education
(vi) Human Kinetics Education

C. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Programmes

ADMISSION REQUIREMETS
For the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
Programmes
A Bachelor’s degree of any recognized University is
required. Higher National Diploma holders
of recognized Polytechnics who obtain at least an Upper
Credit classification in Higher National
Diploma Certificate are also qualified.
For Sub-Degree Diploma Programmes
(i) Arabic Education
(ii) Human Kinetics & Health Education
At least 5 Credit passes at SSCE/GCE/NECO/NBTE or
equivalents, including English
Language, at not more than two sittings.

DIPLOMA)
Application is online. Applicants should visit Unilorin
website (http://www.unilorin.edu.ng) for
admission requirements before proceeding to pay for
application form with ATM Master Card
or Verve Card.
Application fees:
Undergraduate and Diploma: N10, 000:00
Postgraduate and Postgraduate Diploma: N25, 000:00
REGISTRATION
Students’ registration will be online.
CLOSING DATES FOR SALE AND SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION FORMS
(a) Postgraduate : 30th April, 2014
(b) Undergraduate and Diploma: 16th May, 2014.
Date for Masters’ Qualifying Examination: Saturday, 17th
May, 2014.
