Horrific moment elephant trampled its baby to death - just moments after it was born at German Zoo

 New mother Bibi the elephant stomped on her newborn baby at a zoo in Halle, Germany, before keepers could intervene. She became distressed after giving birth to the calf and stamped on it, before flinging its body around with her trunk.
