217 ORPHANS GET SALLAH FOOD, CLOTH IN JOS

The Naraguta Community Foundation yesterday disbursed Food items and clothes to 217 widows and orphans as part of its support programme for the less privilege ahead of the upcoming Eid-al-fitr.
Presenting the items at his palace, the Sarkin Naraguta Engr. Muhammad Bello said the aim of the foundation was to render educational, trade and humanitarian supports to orphans, widows and jobless youths of the community.
He urged the widows to exercise patience and accept their situation as the will of Allah adding that “You should also know that you will all be ask to account for how well or otherwise you are able to bring up the orphans in your care.”
Vice Chairman of the Foundation Imam Ishaq Iliyasu, said the foundation had supported 190 orphans and widows last year adding that 20 orphans have been trained in tailoring.
