#TALKING SPORTS# Dedevbo is now falconets new coach

The Nigeria Football Federation has named Peter Dedevbo as coach of Nigeria's female Under-20 team, the Falconets.

Prior to this appointment, Dedevbo was in charge of the Under-17 female team - the flamingos - who he led to the quarter-finals of the Fifa Under-17 World Cup in 2010 and 2012.

The Delta State-born tactician will be assisted by Toyin Ayinla and Haruna Uche, who is the goalkeeping coach.

Dedevbo has already invited 30 players for camping ahead of the qualifiers for the Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup which will be hosted by Canada next year.
