AIRTEL illuminates naija as it introduces 4G internet service

Airtel Nigeria at the weekend says it is currently scaling up its service with the introduction of 4G that would enable its subscribers have easier and faster access to internet services on its network.
Airtel Regional Operation Director for the West Region, Mr. Oluwasegun Macaulay disclosed at an interactive session with newsmen in Ilorin, Kwara State, that having introduced 3.75G network, it is currently testing the 4G network in the Southern region in order to be ahead of its contemporaries.
"We are the first in 3.5G but if we stay at that level they are going to catch up with us. And we are going to lose people. So right now we are testing our 4G in the south region. So we are moving ahead. We are testing our 4G in the south being Portharcourt Rivers State, Warri and all those areas," he said.
