Natalya Page was sent to isolation and told she couldn't attend lessons at Kenton Academy, in Kenton, Newcastle - until she dyes back to a natural colour. Teachers contacted her father, Fred Page (pictured right), to ask for permission to recolour his daughter's hair in a school salon, but he refused, saying the school had overreacted. The school announced plans earlier this week to charge parent fines of £60 - increasing to £120 on non-payment - if their children missed lessons
