SEPT 11 ATTACK: 12 years after, pentagon marks anniversary

New York remembers its fallen: Twin towers of light rise above Ground Zero on 12th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

Ceremonies will be held at the Pentagon, the site of the Flight 93 crash and the World Trade Center today, where the Tribute In Light (pictured) will shine. The names of those who died when the hijacked jets crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon will be read out at the ceremony at the two-year-old memorial plaza. Those killed in the hijacked Flight 93 and the victims of the 1993 trade center bombing will also be read aloud.
