YERIMA HAILS SULTAN AT 57

Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima has congratulated the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar for clocking 57 years, describing the Sultan as a man of peace, who is deeply committed to promoting national unity, development and progress throughout Nigeria.

The Senate Deputy Minority Leader in a statement in Abuja, felicitating with the Sultan as he marked his birthday, prayed God to grant the head of the Sokoto Caliphate, who is also the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), many more years of worthy service to the country, Islam and humanity in general.
He said “I write on behalf of my family and the people of Zamfara West Senatorial District to congratulate you on the occasion of your 57th birthday and pray that Almighty God continues to bless you and prosper you in your continued service to the cause of peace, unity, tolerance and growth of our dear country.”
