Nigeria International Victor Moses Gets The Nod In Chelsea First Team For Inter Milan Friendly


Nigerian winger Victor Moses has been named in Chelsea’s first eleven to face Inter Milan as part of the International Champions Cup Competition being held in America.
Moses has been an integral part of Chelsea’s preseason so far and even scored in their earlier tour to Asia.
Blues boss,Jose Mourinho leads his Chelsea side into battle against former club Inter Milan, in the first leg of their pre-season trip to America.
The squad includes players who were on board the club’s preseason tour to Asia and six others who joined pre season preparations on Monday.
Moses’ compatriot John Mikel Obi, who had an extended holidays due to his international duties, will be on the bench when the Blues face Coach Walter Mazzarri’s side.
Ghana’s Michael Essien who had an impressive start to the preseason in the Chelsea Asian tour is also on the bench making way for young Van Ginkel to take his place .
Chelsea‘s line-up is as follows:
Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole; Ramires, Van Ginkel; Hazard, Oscar, Moses; Lukaku.
Subs: Schwarzer, Bertrand, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Essien, Mikel, Mata, Torres, Ba.
Inter Starting XI: Handanovic, Campagnaro, Ranocchia, Jesus, Nagatomo, Pereira, Cambiasso, Guarin, Alvarez, Palacio, Icardi
Chelsea next play on August 4 against an opponent yet to be determined, either AC Milan or Valencia with the game taking place in New York.
