TYPE OF CONTEST: Grant/Business Plan

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Dell Social Innovation Challenge (DSCI) identifies and supports promising young social innovators who dedicate themselves to solving the world's most pressing problems with their transformative ideas. We provide university students with world-class teaching and training, as well as with start-up capital and access to a network of mentors and advisors. DSIC is now accepting ideas that can empower, educate and create business opportunities for women.

ELIGIBILITY: Any university student in the world can enter the DSIC, with a few exceptions outlined in our Competition Rules. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and Ph.D. students in any field of study are eligible to enter.

$10,000 Second Prize
$5,000 Third Prize

DSIC will select 10 additional “Promising Projects” and provide cash awards of $500 designed to enable field testing for the best ideas empowering women.
