Russian Football Team Sign Up Nigerian-born Israeli Striker
A Russian Premier League football team on Tuesday announced that it had signed Nigerian-born Israeli striker Toto Tamuz on a two-year deal.
Tamuz, 25, has two goals in 10 appearances for Israel and moves from Hapoel Tel Aviv, where he scored 44 goals in 85 league games over three years.
"The signing of a deal has just taken place in the club's office," Ural Yekaterinburg said on Twitter.
Ural have just one point from their first three games of the 2013-14 season despite playing some attractive football at times.
They next play fellow relegation candidates FC Tomsk on Saturday.
